# Analytics Pack

> See how your team's content workflow is performing, and how your published content performs once it's out in the world.

# Analytics Pack

Most content teams can tell you what they published. Few can tell you how fast they published it, where things stall, or whether any of it actually performed once it went live. Analytics answers both — how your team works, and how your work lands.

## Two views, one place

**How your team is working.** Publishing volume, cycle time, how long content sits in each stage, who's carrying the workload, and a running feed of anything worth a second look — a card that's stalled, a handoff that's aging. No setup required, and no external accounts to connect. If you're on a plan that includes Analytics, this is already there.

**How your content is performing.** Connect Google Analytics once, and every published piece shows its own page views, sessions, engagement, and time-on-page — right where you're already looking at that piece of content, not in a separate reporting tool you have to remember to check.

## Why it matters

For a comms team justifying its own output — to a provost, a dean, a budget committee — "we published 40 pieces this quarter" is a weaker argument than "we published 40 pieces, cut our average cycle time by a third, and our top program pages are holding steady engagement six months out." Analytics is what turns your workflow into that second sentence.

## What's included

Workflow analytics ships free on every plan that includes this pack — Enterprise gets it automatically; Starter and Team can add it. Content performance (the Google Analytics connection) is opt-in on top of that, and it's genuinely optional: your workflow numbers work whether or not you ever connect an account.

*Already a customer deciding whether to add this? See the full [Analytics Pack reference](../packs/analytics-pack.md) for setup steps and the exact metrics tracked.*
